Keputusan Baju Merah Uniten

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...

Lama rasanya xupdate blog,maaf lar sgt2 kat followers sume sbb xberkesempatan nak update akhir2 ni..lagi2 ditambah pulak ngan mggu2 exam an? Aku ni lusa nak exam final n sekarang baru nak ada semangat mengupdate..nak escape study jap lar 2..ish3..

Lagi 1,aku ada problem dalam nak mengupload gambar kat blog akhir2 ni sbb storage picasa aku dah penuh & flikr plak cam xley nak harap sgt sbb bole display 200 gambar ajer..apakah..agak2 kalo ada sesape yg boleh share web yg best utk upload2 gambar ni amat dialu2kan..

Berbalik kepada tajuk, setelah sekian lama blog Kaca Mata Hati ni menyepi selepas kali terakhir update pasal baju merah uniten 2,akhirnya hari ni ada lar sedikit perubahan yg dibawa oleh management uniten ni..

Antara usul2 yg diberi perhatian semasa hari dialog terbuka 2 adalah :-

- harga penginapan yg sudah ditarik subsidi & dalam masa yg sama pelajar harus membayar elektrik sendiri menggunakan meter topup elektrik yg ada pada setiap bilik..tariff elektrik pulak bukan calang2 lagi,pakai tariff kilang punya,40sen/kwh..dasyat..kalau dulu penginapan xder subsidi tp xder lar plak elektrik bayar sendiri..

- penginapan perempuan di Murni seperti tidak lagi selamat,banayak betul berlaku,katanya siap ada flasher bogel2 kat luar pagar Murni..apakah..

- komputer kat kolej IT yg "laju giler tahap superspeed" punya..wat malu kolej IT ajer..

- tampal jalan pakai simen ajer..macam jahil sgt..jadi semua pown tertanya2,duit yg banyak2 dari kami 2 dilaburkan untuk apa an??

Sebenarnya banyak lagi usul2 2..tp ni ajer lar yg paling hangat & yg aku ingat..biasalar,terpaksa hold lama nak tunggu keputusannya..Memang ramai yg xpuas hati sbb menda2 ni xdapat diselesaikan malam 2 jugak,tp mmg lojik pown,dorang kena bermesyuarat dulu lar apa lar an..cuma kami berharap ada lar sedikit perubahan 2..Apa2 pun pujian patut diberikan kepada MPP sebab menjalankan tugas dengan baik..Alhamdulillah..

baju merah seperti yg dijanjikan simbolik protes mahasiswa uniten..

Antara pihak pengurusan yg bersabar melayan sikap protes kami..syabas..

antara mereka2 yg keluar memberi usul,sebenarnya ramai lagi,panjang beratur hari 2..

macam biasa lar,habis ajer dialog 2,mula lar ada cerita kedai kopi jap..=)

Jadi hari ni baru lar dapat email dari sebulat suara pihak pengurusan..

Dear Students,

This is to inform that there have been a series of discussions held with the Students Representatives Council, International Students Society and groups of students in addition to the dialogue session held with students on 3rd March 2011 at the Dewan Seri Sarjana, which are all part of UNITEN’s Management’s continuous engagement with students. In that respect, UNITEN Management Council are pleased to inform that, after taking into consideration the welfare and security of students in UNITEN apartments, the following actions have been implemented :-

1.      UNITEN will bear the RM40.00 initially preloaded in the prepaid meter (please refer to the circular sent on 8th March 2011 )

2.      The electricity tariff will be reduced by about 15% from RM0.397/kwh to RM0.340/kwh with effect from 8th March 2011 (please refer to the circular sent on 8th March 2011 )

3.      Discussion will be held with TNB on the reduction of the overall tariff for students accommodation

4.      Library has been opened 24 hours for students to prepare for their coming semester examination

5.      Potholes will be covered in our campus road

6.      An additional parking space adjacent to BN parking area will be opened to students (from May Semester)
7.      A security guard house has been located behind MURNI
8.      Security at MURNI has been enhanced by stationing extra guards
9.      All perimeter lightings & spotlights are now in working condition
10.  Small barbed wires have been installed at the piping from level 1 to level 2 to prevent intruders from climbing up into students apartments at MURNI
11.  Installation of additional locks to the balcony at MURNI apartments up to Level 4 have been installed
12.  All corridor lightings are in working condition
13.  CCTV will be installed behind MURNI (and possibly AMANAH) and for which the procurement process are on-going
14.  Latches for padlock will be installed either at students cupboards or room doors in all UNITEN apartments to avoid cases of theft (though we are seeking advise from BOMBA on padlocking the room doors, as to whether it is in compliance with safety requirements)
15.  Perimeter fencing between I5 and I4 will be enhanced

16. UNITEN has covered wireless to the various area as below:
a.      COE Food Court
b.      COE for Block BN and BM all floors
c.      Library 2nd Floor
d.      Admin Food Court
e.      COGS Lounge Area
f.      DSS and DSS Food Court
g.      COIT Ground Floor
In addition, in this FY, UNITEN is in the midst of expanding the coverage at Food Court 2 and Masjid common area. In next FY, insya’allah, wireless coverage will be available at Library whole floors.


We take this opportunity to also inform our students that UNITEN Management Council will continue to upgrade the facilities provided in campus for the benefit of UNITEN’s students and staff.
